After the 20 treatments I was not very red, my skin was irritated but it didn’t feel like it had been burned and my skin stayed pretty close to what it was before radiation. One of the things I really liked about the oil was that it felt really soothing and cooling when it was applied and for some time afterwards, it felt like I was pampering myself and that was a real plus throughout my treatments.

The redness and tenderness did increase over the weeks but each day the oil application & plastic wrap reduced most of the redness and tenderness. Before bed I would apply more oil and plastic wrap and wear it overnight and until I showered before my next treatment. I would then remove the plastic wrap, reapply the oil and put on a 100% cotton tank top. My treatments were in the afternoon, so afterwards, I would put the oil on and cover it with plastic wrap and leave it for about 5 hours. I had 20 radiation treatments over four weeks and I used this oil everyday - several times a day. I love this oil!!! It is very silky, has a nice fragrance and is very soothing when I put it on my skin.
